it's only when i'm recording kemper tracks in studio one that the pops occur.Ģ: The problem does not exist when using a microphone through the preamp (you don't say if you have tried a "non Kemper" line level) < - i don't use any other line level hardware, sry, but otherwise this is true. nor are there pops/cracks when listening from the babyface headphone jack, with the kemper signal routed through the babyface and not through a daw. there are no pops or cracks when listening from the kemper headphone jack. there are no pops/cracks that occur from kemper tracks when recording in Samplitude pro x2, the other daw i own. i use an rme babyfaceġ: The problem does not exist when using Samplitude. Thanks for replying i would like to have this resolved because i like s1. I would pay really close attention to your signal flow and gain structure.Ģ: Input level to high (check all places this can happen)?ģ: Is the Kemper producing this sound itself (listen closely while playing)? If this were just the digital outputs then I would consider a problem between digital clocks, but since it also happens using analog it's likely something physical. You need to to make sure that you are not recording those clicks/snaps/pops. That snap/pop on the recording would have been easier to hear if you hadn't rendered with a click track - but what I did hear sounds like electronic issues or even static.

What is the interface/preamp that you use. Let me see if I understand this correctly.ġ: The problem does not exist when using SamplitudeĢ: The problem does not exist when using a microphone through the preamp (you don't say if you have tried a "non Kemper" line level)ģ: The problem does exist when you hookup the Kemper to the preamp using digital outs.Ĥ: The problem does exist when you hookup the Kemper to the preamp using analog outs.ĥ: The problem only exists on Kemper recorded tracks. there is just something wrong with the programming. slipped my mind i completely wiped my drive and tried it with nothing installed, twice. just have to use samplitude now////įtfc wroteedit: melodyne is not the problem. I don't know if you guys do updates in the background or what, but i didn't change anything. i didn't catch the pops/clicks for a while, but they're apparent on demos starting from august 30th. i've tried with both spdif and analog outs (the clicks and pops don't happen when using a mic through the same pre's).
